Youth English Club - Juniors

BRINGING AMERICA TO YOU!

The Youth English Club started 10 years ago at the Croatian-American Society in order to help young people improve their English skills and to enhance their inter-cultural experience. Classes focus on the 4 main language areas:speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Several creative teaching techniques are incorporated into all classes in order to reach all students. Throughout the school year the program holds several parties for students to use and practice the English they have acquired in different environments. Students also have the opportunity to take part in various educational trips. Our program prepares students to take Cambridge Young Learner Exams in the spring as well.

A 32-week program designed for children age 6 to 14. The curriculum is structured in a way that all students speak, read, write, and listen in every class meeting. Classes meet twice per week . The course prepares students for the level appropriate Cambridge Exam.

Highly qualified English speaking professionals, most of whom are native English speakers, deliver all classes.

Providing all students with quality instruction in a relaxed setting where EACH student has the opportunity to improve their English speaking, reading, writing, and overall retention of the language.Groups are organized according to students' age and their level of English knowledge. Each age group has a beginner, intermediate and advanced level class.
