American Citizens Information Night 2008
The U.S. Embassy in Zagreb organized its first American Citizens Information
Night, held on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Embassy.
For this event, many experts on a variety of topics important to you, an American Citizen
residing in Croatia, such as overseas voting assistance, immigration to the U.S., Social Security issues,
commercial and investment opportunities, information about educational opportunities and Englishspeaking
community groups in Croatia, as well as the latest information on requirements for Croatian visa
and residence permits.
U.S. Ambassador to Croatia Robert A. Bradtke gave welcoming remarks.

Hrvatsko-američko
društvo organiziralo je obrazovno-sportski program za djecu i mlade
od 7 do 18 godina na Alpama u prekrasnom Bovecu. Osim činjenice
da je službeni jezik bio engleski vođen pratiteljima/predavačima
izvornim govornicima, program je uključivao dvostanu nastavu engleskog
jezika kao i dodatne aktivnosti - šah, i i kreativno pisanje. Polaznici
programa su uživali u bijelim čarima Alpa kroz sanjkanje i skijanje
kako na Kaninu tako i u Tarvisiu u Italiji.
Dan darivanja: Dom za nezbrinutu djecu Sv. Terezija
